Pieter and I are definitely not the only Dutch people who have left the Netherlands looking for a different lifestyle in Portugal. Moniek and Thomas have started a small-scale campsite in the North of Portugal. At their campsite, guests can enjoy a beautiful view of the valley and a peaceful atmosphere.
Take a dip in the swimming pool or in the river nearby, have a picnic, walk or cycle from the campsite or in a natural park in the area. Visit authentic villages or beautiful cities such as Porto, Amarante, Braga & Guimarães, where you can eat out deliciously and affordably, go shopping or visit markets and museums. Or be taken to local wine farms for a tasting or lunch. At their Quinta they also regularly offer healthy meals, a good cup of coffee to start the day or a nice Beasty Beers craft beer in the afternoon!
